The Cleave at Lustleigh
A great pub in a beautiful setting
Thatched and dating back to the 15th century, The Cleave sits at the heart of the idyllic village of Lustleigh, in the hills of the Dartmoor National Park. We’re easy to find – just one mile off the A382, the main Bovey Tracey to Moretonhampstead road. The Cleave is a friendly, family-run pub and you’re assured of a warm welcome. Popular with locals, walkers, cyclists and visitors alike, the mix of relaxed dining at affordable prices plus good local beers and unpretentious wines goes down very well!
A garden & a fire
We have a lovely cottage garden for the warm days and a traditional snug bar – complete with beams, granite and a log fire – for the chillier ones. The rear of The Cleave, formerly the old station waiting room, has been refurbished to give a light and airy bistro atmosphere with access to outdoor dining in the rear garden.
